This rigid towbar with bolted-on tow ball head for your VW PASSAT B7 is produced by the brand manufacturer Oris. This towbar is the right choice for daily and heavy usage. And it's inexpensive. This rigid, bolted-on Oris towbar System ASP for your VW PASSAT B7 is inexpensive, easy to install, and extremely robust. The system is ideal for frequent use, as are all rigid towbars.

Towing capacity up to 2465 kg and a vertical load of 100 kg characterize this towbar. Oris indicates a fatigue strength of 11.3 kN.

A cut in the bumper is required to fit this towbar. The cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions.

The detailed installation instructions from the manufacturer Oris are included with this product. A cathodic electro-dip coating is present. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. Effective corrosion protection and a high-quality smooth surface is the result.

VW issues a unique chassis number to each vehicle, listed in paragraph "E" of the vehicle registration document or paragraph "4" in the vehicle identification document. This towbar can be ordered as of the identification number 3C-B-200001.

Your car's parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball. In reverse it could be recognized as an obstacle. Please read the instructions and specifications of the vehicle manufacturer when retrofitting a towbar. Normally such information can be found in your vehicle user manual.
