This indestructible, bolted on Oris towbar with bolted-on ball head provides robustness at a bargain price. It fits your VW PASSAT B7 and is an inexpensive choice characterized by durability. Towing capacity up to 2465 kg and a vertical load of 100 kg characterize this towbar. Oris submitted a fatigue value of 11.3 kN.

A cut in the lower part of the bumper is required during installation. This cut will not be visible. Bumper cut dimensions and template are part of the instructions.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer Oris. This towbar features a cathodic electro-dip coating. This is a modern and efficient painting process that uses environmentally friendly, water-soluble epoxy resis with electrical current and temperatures of approx. 200°C. The result is effective corrosion protection combined with a high-quality smooth surface.

The towbar is suitable from chassis number 3C-B-200001 and up. The chassis number is issued by the VW. You can find the chassis number in the vehicle registration document under "E" or in the former vehicle identification document under number "4".

In reverse, the parking assistance sensors might detect the tow ball of this rigid towbar. It could be recognized as an obstacle. Carefully read the instructions and specific indications of the vehicle manufacturer when fitting the towbar. Such information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
