Rameder towbars for the good old Beetle
The Volkswagen Beetle is one of the classic cars you see most often. And in contrast to gullwing
door cars and so on, you can even see it on ordinary roads, although little space and a
small boot render it inconvenient for ordinary uses. Rameder, one of the leading providers of
transport accessories for cars, thus sells a towbar for many Beetle models dating from 1967 to
1984 at www.rameder.eu.
The rigid hook with its welded ball head enables the Beetle to tow small trailers or caravans.
And at a vertical coupling load of 50kg, affixing a bicycle rack is no problem either. The
maximum towing capacity depends upon the specific model of the many produced over the
decades. The D-value is 4.84 kN. The towbar needs a mounting time of ca. 1.5 h. Also available
are a 7-pin electrical kit and a 13-pin kit. Time to get going and towing, don’t you think?!
