Rameder’s flexible towing brackets make it possible
An all-terrain trailer? An ever increasing number of drivers of off-roaders and 4WD vans want such a thing. So it is no wonder that Rameder, Europe’s leading tow-bar provider, is seeing a huge demand in that segment. Trailers to be towed could be a caravan, for example, or a large tent trailer. If you are building a house, you will want to tow all the bulky stuff across a property that has yet to see anything resembling a road. Athletes will want to get their mountain bikes, kites or trail bikes to the middle of nowhere.
Depending upon the terrain to be traversed, you may need a special trailer chassis and a special coupling. Conventional ones aside, Rameder at www.rameder.eu also offers a wide range of towing brackets. This is a special version in which the traverse and the ball head form two separate, bolted units. This construction lends it a high loading capacity, and exchangeable components make it very flexible indeed. If you want, you may mount a NATO hook bar, which is very popular among 4WD drivers because the jaw is 360°-turnable. You will, however, need a special drawbar eye on the trailer. That does also apply to the so-called jaw-type coupling you may know from trucks. Companies that use a variety of trailers in particular may want a system that allows them to change couplings fast and efficiently. And for off-road fans who get their pick-ups and 4WDs directly from the US Rameder also has an adapter for sale. You will find an overview of all the products and more details at www.rameder.eu.
