Thule SlideBar - innovative and easy to handle
The Thule SlideBar is the only extendible roof carrier. The bars can be extended to 600 mm on both the sides of the vehicle. This means that because of the distance to the vehicle, the side of your FORD USA EDGE is protected against damages during loading and unloading and you can comfortably load the roof carrier e.g. with bicycles or other goods to be transported, from the kerb. You need not reach out till the middle of the vehicle roof. After everything has been stowed away safely, push the carrier back to the original position. Accessories like roof boxes and bicycle carriers are easy to mount thanks to the innovative T-slot that can be covered.
This roof carrier was developed especially for your vehicle having a closed roof rail. Your vehicle is fitted with a closed roof rail if you cannot grab below the rail (this is also known as integrated roof rail).
