Product details

A simple lever lets you release this detachable, horizontal GDW towbar. It's a perfect option for your MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS. In the category hand and lever systems the GDW T35 is one of the most affordable. The tow ball is secured to the towing bracket with 4 screws.

Don't give thieves a chance! Use accessory 218918 to protect the towbar against theft. The towbar supports a vertical load of 50 kg. GDW submitted a fatigue value of 7.7 kN.

This towbar requires a TÜV inspection. This will be requested automatically after your order. Your towbar will be issued a unique certification number, which will be noted on the type plate. It's required to have your MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS towbar inspected by an expert for registration. After the inspection the towbar must be recorded in the vehicle documents.

A cut in the bumper is required to fit this towbar. The cut will not be visible.

You will receive detailed installation instructions for this product from the manufacturer GDW. The product has a dip-coat. During dip coating, the towbar is dipped in a special and highly durable paint that protects against corrosion.
