A simple lever mechanism releases this detachable horizontal GDW towbar. It's a perfect option for the MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS Coupe. The GDW T35 hand and lever system is one of the most affordable in its category. The tow ball is secured onto the towing bracket with 4 screws.
Use accessory 218918 to protect the towbar against theft. A vertical load of 50 kg is supported. GDW indicates a fatigue strength of 7.7 kN.
This towbar includes a TÜV certificate with a unique certification number that is noted on the type plate. We will request this certificate for you after you order this towbar. You need to have your MERCEDES-BENZ S-CLASS Coupe towbar inspected, which requires that it is installed and shown to an expert. After the inspection the towbar must be recorded in the vehicle document.
A cut in the bumper is required to fit this towbar. The cut will not be visible.
