The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW TRANSPORTER T6 Platform/Chassis and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VW TRANSPORTER T6 Platform/Chassis with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW TRANSPORTER T6 Platform/Chassis installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car.
