This 7 pin kit for your AUDI A8 D5 is made by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the AUDI A8 D5. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your AUDI A8 D5 with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed AUDI A8 D5 installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI A8 D5. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
