This 7 pin kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS is made by TowTec for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
