This 7 pin wire kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS is produced by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed C-CLASS C-CLASS installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ C-CLASS . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
