This 7 pin wire kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ R-CLASS is produced by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ R-CLASS . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your MERCEDES-BENZ R-CLASS is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed R-CLASS R-CLASS installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle.
