This 7 pin kit for your FORD MONDEO IV is made by TowTec for your car. After the 7-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your FORD MONDEO IV, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your FORD MONDEO IV is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed FORD MONDEO IV installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your FORD MONDEO IV. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
