This 7 pin wire kit for your MERCEDES-BENZ GLK-CLASS is produced by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your MERCEDES-BENZ GLK-CLASS . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ GLK-CLASS installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your MERCEDES-BENZ GLK-CLASS. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin wiring kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
