This 7 pin wiring kit for your AUDI A5 Sportback is manufactured by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your AUDI A5 Sportback . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed AUDI A5 Sportback installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your AUDI A5 Sportback . It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
