This 7 pin wiring kit for your AUDI A5 Convertible is manufactured by TowTec for your car. The operation of this 7-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your AUDI A5 Convertible and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.
The automatic deactivation of the parking assist function is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed AUDI A5 Convertible installation manual. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your AUDI A5 Convertible. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin wiring kit. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
