This 7 pin wire kit for your VOLVO XC70 II is produced by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VOLVO XC70 II. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO XC70 II with a push on a dashboard button. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VOLVO XC70 II. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.
