This 7 pin wiring kit for your VOLVO EX40 is manufactured by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the VOLVO EX40. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO EX40 with a button on your dashboard. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle.
