This 7 pin wire kit for your CUPRA FORMENTOR is produced by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the CUPRA FORMENTOR. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your CUPRA FORMENTOR is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed CUPRA FORMENTOR installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your CUPRA FORMENTOR. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
