This 7 pin wiring kit for your LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT is manufactured by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is connected to the existing data bus system of the LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT. The car system will signal a fault in the trailer lighting. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this electrical kit.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed DISCOVERY SPORT DISCOVERY SPORT installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
In some countries it is not allowed to use a bicycle carrier with this towbar because there is no option to automatically switch off the fog lights.
