This 7 pin wire kit for your BMW 5 is produced by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit is easily integrated into the existing data bus system of your BMW 5. If the trailer lights are damaged, the car's own system will signal the fault. Manual coding is not required with this electrical kit.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your BMW 5 with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed 5 5 installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your BMW 5. It is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pin kit. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
