This 7 pin wiring kit for your BMW X5 is manufactured by TowTec for your car. This 7-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your BMW X5 . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
A shutdown of the factory-installed parking assist function of your BMW X5 is supported by this 7 pin CAN-bus module electrical kit.
