  • it is possible that the engine cooling system of the vehicle is not equipped for operation of a trailer; in such cases it may be necessary to replace parts of the cooling system (e.g. fans)
  • if the vehicle is pre-equipped for the AHK, there will be an open 12-pin connector (in the boot behind the right-hand side panel)
  • this wiring harness kit was developed for vehicles with no pre-equipment, but can also be used on vehicles with the 12-pin connector

Consisting of a detachable towbar from Westfalia and the necessary 7-pin electrical kit, this complete set optimally equips your vehicle to meet all challenges. The towbar and electrical kit were developed specifically for your AUDI A5 Convertible. You can tow trailers weighing up to 2100 kg with them. When not in use, the ball head can be simply removed and stored in the boot.

The vehicle does not need to be inspected by an expert after the complete set has been installed. There is also no need for an entry in the vehicle documentation of your AUDI A5 Convertible . Please note the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer in your vehicle user manual.
