This vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit for your vehicle is from the manufacturer Erich Jaeger. This 7 pole wiring kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your vehicle . Defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. Once the wiring kit has been installed, the vehicle must be coded for trailer operation.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 7 pole data bus wiring kit. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 7 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. The manufacturer Erich Jaeger specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 7 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

To deactivate the rear fog light(s) of your vehicle when towing a trailer or using a bicycle carrier, you need the extension kit ZB5437 This accessory is necessary as the use of a bicycle carrier (load carrier) is not permitted according to StVZO §49a para. 9a if automatic deactivation of the rear fog light(s) is not supported.

The electrical set is suitable from ORGA no. 11681 onwards. You can find the number on an adhesive label and/or sign on the A or B pillar of your .
