Once the 13 pole wiring kit has been integrated into your vehicle's data bus system, it reliably indicates faulty trailer lighting using the vehicle's own system. After installing the wiring kit, the vehicle must be set to trailer operation.

This 13 pole data bus electrical kit automatically regulates the deactivation of the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle.

The socket is connected with pin 9 to the steady plus. Extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge a battery in your trailer.
