This 13 pole wiring kit from Westfalia is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. The handling of this 13 pole wiring kit is extremely simple: It is recognized by the data bus system in your vehicle and is ready for use after coding the vehicle for trailer operation. From now on, the wiring kit will inform you via the vehicle's own system if the lighting on the trailer is faulty.
This 13 pole data bus electrical kit automatically regulates the deactivation of the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle.
The trailer socket is already connected with pin 9 to the permanent positive current function. It is possible to extend pin 10 with accessory 139243 to charge the trailer battery.
