Product details

This 13 pole wiring kit from TowTec is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. The 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the frequency of the turn light indicator when a trailer light is defective.

The 13 pole Top Tronic wiring kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.

The optional ZB0478 expansion set is recommended for cars with checkcontrol. It will enable checkcontrol to operate when towing.
