This 13 pole wiring kit from TowTec is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. The 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the frequency of the turn light indicator when a trailer light is defective.
The 13 pole Top Tronic wiring kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connections, adapted cable lengths and colors as well as detailed installation instructions are the hallmarks of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
