Product details

The 13 pole TowTec wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. The 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the frequency of the turn light indicator when a trailer light is not working.

The 13 pole Top Tronic wiring kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
