We have a tip for you! To deactivate your vehicle's parking aid when towing a trailer, use the button on the dashboard. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
