The 13 pole ECS wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. This 13 pin summer wiring kit activates a warning sound when a defective trailer turn light is detected.
Extra tip from us: If you wish, you can switch off the parking aid from the dashboard of your vehicle using a button when towing a trailer. Vehicle-specific plugs are not included in this wiring kit. It has adapted cable lengths and cable colors and detailed installation instructions for your vehicle. A cable gland suitable for the vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring harness is already available on your vehicle. Therefore, you do not have to drill through the rear panel of your vehicle during installation. ECS specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1 hour(s).
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
