Product details

The 13 pole ECS wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. The trailer indicator light (C2) with the 13 pole electrical kit shows you directly in the display area of the car whether the trailer indicators are functional or not. The trailer indicator light no longer needs to be activated separately on your vehicle.

Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connections, adapted cable lengths and colors as well as detailed installation instructions are the hallmarks of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. A cable gland suitable for the vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring harness is already available on your vehicle. Therefore, you do not have to drill through the rear panel of your vehicle during installation.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
