The handling of this 13 pole wiring kit is extremely simple: It is recognized by the data bus system in your vehicle and is ready for use after coding the vehicle for trailer operation. From now on, the wiring kit will inform you via the vehicle's own system if the lighting on the trailer is faulty.

The 13 pole data bus electrical kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose. It's not required to connect each cable to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.

Pin 9 of the socket can be extended with steady plus by connecting extension set 107650 to connect electrical consumers in your trailer.
