Product details

This 13 pole wiring kit from ECS is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. This wiring kit with 13 poles is connected to the vehicle's existing data bus system. If the trailer lighting is faulty, the car's system will indicate this. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this wiring kit.

The factory-fitted parking aid on the vehicle is automatically deactivated by this 13 pole data bus wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
