We have a tip for you! To deactivate your vehicle's parking aid when towing a trailer, use the button on the dashboard. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
