Product details

The 13 pole TowTec wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. The trailer indicator light (C2) with the 13 pole electrical kit shows you directly in the display area of the car whether the trailer indicators are functional or not. The trailer indicator light no longer needs to be activated separately on your vehicle.

Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. The user-friendly installation instructions, the high-quality, vehicle-specific plug connection and the cable lengths and colors matched to the vehicle are the most outstanding features of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. To install this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit, you do not need to machine the rear panel of your vehicle. There is already a suitable cable gland in the rear of your vehicle that can be used for this purpose.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
