Product details

The 13 pole ECS wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. This wiring kit with 13 poles is connected to the vehicle's existing data bus system. If the trailer lighting is faulty, the car's system will indicate this. Attention! Coding is no longer necessary with this wiring kit.

The 13 pole data bus electrical kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
