Product details

The 13 pole TowTec wiring kit is supplied specifically for your vehicle. The function of the trailer indicators is indicated to you with this 13 pole wiring harness via the vehicle's own trailer indicator light (C2) in the dashboard area. It is not necessary to have the trailer indicator light function activated on your vehicle.

The 13 pole relay electrical kit ensures that the factory-fitted parking aid on your vehicle is automatically switched off. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the car. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
