Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. The user-friendly installation instructions, the high-quality, vehicle-specific plug connection and the cable lengths and colors matched to the vehicle are the most outstanding features of this wiring kit. Your vehicle already has a cable feed-through, which is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pole wiring kit. This eliminates the need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. The manufacturer TowTec specifies an installation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wire kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 1.5 hours for installation.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
