Product details

Your vehicle can be equipped with this detachable rear-mounted towbar from GDW. This tried and tested model is produced with a simple lever mechanism. The GDW T36 is a practical, reliable and durable hand and lever system. The tow ball is secured onto the towing bracket with 2 screws.

Protect this towbar against theft with this optional accessory: 218918. This towbar has a towing capacity of up to 980 kg and a vertical load of 70 kg. GDW indicates a fatigue strength of 6 kN.

This towbar requires a cut in the lower part of the bumper. This cut will not be visible. A cutting template or cutting dimensions can be found in the installation instructions.

Tip: We recommend the use of a rigid or swivelling towbar or detachable automatic system if bike carriers will be used or high loads be pulled frequently.

The ordered article includes detailed assembly instructions from GDW. The product was dip-coated. During dip coating, towbars are dipped in a special, durable paint that protects against corrosion.

Carefully read the instructions and specific indications of the vehicle manufacturer when fitting the towbar. Such information can be found in the vehicle's user manual.
