This 13 pole wiring kit from TowTec is supplied vehicle-specific for your vehicle. The 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the frequency of the turn light indicator when a trailer light is defective.
Our tip! If available, you can switch off your vehicle's parking aid in the dashboard area via a button when towing a trailer. This wiring kit scores points with a first-class, vehicle-specific plug connection, with adapted cable lengths and colors and detailed installation instructions. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
