The automatic deactivation of the parking aid function of your AUDI A3 is supported by this 13 pin Top Tronic electrical wiring kit. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed AUDI A3 installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your AUDI A3 . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
The ZB0478 kit is recommended for cars with checkcontrol to prevent error messages when towing a trailer. It will activate checkcontrol when towing.
