This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your BMW 5. This 13 pin Top Tronic wiring kit will increase the blink frequency of the turn light control function when a trailer light is faulty.
The automatic deactivation of the parking aid function of your BMW 5 is supported by this 13 pin Top Tronic electrical wiring kit. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed 5 5 installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. TowTec specifies an installation time of 1.5 hour(s) for this 13 pin kit. We have found that it is better to foresee 2 hour(s). It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
