This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Bus . The kit will trigger the specific trailer turn light control indicator in the MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Bus dashboard. This function must not be activated separately.
If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Bus with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Bus installation manual. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your MERCEDES-BENZ VITO Bus . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
