This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your SUBARU FORESTER. The 13 pin relay wire kit will display the trailer turn lights function via an indicator light on the dashboard.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your SUBARU FORESTER with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed FORESTER FORESTER installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. TowTec specifies an intallation time of 1 hour(s) for this 13 pin wiring kit. We know from experience that it is better to foresee 1.5 hour(s).
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
