This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VOLVO S60 I. The wire kit will activate the specific trailer turn light control indicator in the dashboard. This function must not be activated on your VOLVO S60 I.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VOLVO S60 I with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed S60 I S60 I installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle. It's not required to connect the cables to a trailer socket. A socket is already connected with this kit.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
