This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VOLVO XC70 I Cross Country . The kit will trigger the specific trailer turn light control indicator in the VOLVO XC70 I Cross Country dashboard. This function must not be activated separately.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your VOLVO XC70 I Cross Country with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed XC70 I Cross Country XC70 I Cross Country installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. The socket of the electrical kit is already connected. It is therefore not required to connect each cable to the trailer socket.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
