This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your VW GOLF III . The 13 pin relay kit will display the trailer turn lights function via an indicator on the dashboard.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your VW GOLF III with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW GOLF III installation manual.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
