This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis.
You could even turn off the parking assistance of your VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis installation manual. The installation of this electrical kit takes place in the boot only. Prerequisite for continuous current (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit is available in the rear of the vehicle.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
