Are you looking for a specific electrical kit suitable for your VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis? Then this 13-pin electrical kit from TowTec is the right one. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

If available you can turn off parking assistance of your VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. This electrical kit is installed in the boot only. A continuous current connection (terminal 30) for the trailer control unit must be available in the rear of the vehicle. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your VW TRANSPORTER T5 Platform/Chassis. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
